Facts About Me! Get to Know me!

Inspired by a post from a fellow blogger (thefreckledky), I decided to answer questions below so you guys can get to know me more. There’s so much more to me than my college life (I could actually complain about it for days). Nevertheless, enjoy!

Pet Peeves?

I hate when people give you mixed signals, one-word answers,  people staring at you, are acting like snobs, chew with their mouths open, and are inconsiderate while sleeping. Honestly, this list can go on and on.

Age?

I’m 19 and I turn 20 on April 2nd.

Job?

Currently a student at NYU. I’m doing unpaid internships over the summer but would like a job during the fall. It’s harder than it seems considering these employees are picky and don’t know what they are missing out on 🙂 Good thing, I’m not in need though.

What I want to be in life?

I absolutely still see myself blogging about my future family, dreams, and opinions. I would like to become a potential screenwriter who gives African Americans more spotlight as both writers and actors.

What I do when I’m free?

Reading manga, watching anime, listening to music, snooping on the Shaderoom page. I also love to coupon and get free deals at Kmart. There’s nothing better than being cheap, smart, and fashionable.

Smoke, drink, drugs?

I drink very rarely and only at family gatherings. I’m not a party girl at all and I don’t partake in drugs or smoking (I don’t wish to in the future either).

Boyfriend?

Single and never had one. But my future boyfriend will be blessed to have me 🙂

Favorite Song?

I don’t have a favorite one as of now. I love Waterfalls/Scrubs by TLC. My guilty pleasure is Cardi B. From time to time, I listen to Beyonce while jamming out to Little Mix. I think the mainstream songs today, for the most part, is trash. Not only are the lyrics repetitive, but the message is all the same (drugs, party, sex). Because of that, I do resent my generation the majority of the time.

Religion?

My family claims to be Catholic but don’t really do anything to prove it. I’m not religious myself but I can say I’m agnostic. However, I can be spiritual which often spurs my positivity.

Movies?

Not a movie gal

Shows?

I watch Wendy when I’m not mad at her. I love The Real. I’ve been binge watching on random court shows. Again, I watch anime (Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure and many others). South Park, Impractical Jokers, Rugrats, Chowder, KND get some honorable mentions.

Social Media?

I have a Facebook and Twitter obviously. My Twitter is the only one I keep posted. I feel like Snapchat is too complicated. I will open an Instagram once my selfies are in check because my selfie game is horrid. I’m usually considered a “traditional person” because of this and my beliefs in general.

Overall Personality?

Determined A/B student. A laugher. A nerd who compliments herself a ton. I can be judgemental at times, but the skeptical and right type of judgemental 🙂
